Shakira new English album already has a date.

Many thought Shakira's English album would never come out, but now it finally seems it will become reality.  It was originally scheduled for the Spring, but after the delay it was due in the middle of Summer.  Now it is known that in September we will hear her in English.  The actual release date is November 11.

Even though there is a release date, Shakira still hasn't selected which song to use as the cover track.

Tommy Mottola, who handles the company most, talked face to face with Univision.  And like in so many other cases, even though he looks in charge, he doesn't control everything.  He officially wanted the album to come out in the Spring.

The results of the interview with Mottola, Shakira unavailable being in Uruguay, has told Univision that the new disc will consist of 14 songs.  10 tracks in English, that are very much waited for and will set off the crossover, and 4 in Spanish.  Until this moment, the titles of the songs and of the CD are confidential.

Shakira's boyfriend, Antonio de la Rua, has inspired Shakira.  The album includes a mix of rock and tango, amongst other surprises.

She has written all of the songs on the album, the only exception is a track she wrote with Gloria Estefan.  Emilio Estefan Jr., although, is the executive producer of the CD.
